About this file
This document is a marketing policy appendix for the St. Petersburg Pier events management, developed collaboratively between Pier Events LLC, Paradise (a marketing team), and the City of St. Petersburg. The document comprehensively outlines event management responsibilities, event types, promotional strategies, and communication protocols for six distinct event categories: Signature Events, Concerts at the St. Pete Pier, Monthly Programming, Co-sponsored Events, Third-Party Events, and Private Events. The policy details specific marketing and communication expectations for each event type, including social media promotion, public relations efforts, web/digital listings, and timeline requirements.
The document provides granular guidance on event promotion, with Pier Events LLC and Pier Marketing taking primary responsibility for most event marketing activities, while the City of St. Petersburg maintains approval and oversight roles. For Signature Events, the policy mandates that final event information be shared at least 6 weeks in advance to allow comprehensive promotion planning. A detailed event cancellation protocol is also included, specifying real-time communication strategies across multiple platforms in case of last-minute event changes or cancellations. The policy reflects a collaborative approach to event management, ensuring consistent branding, communication, and logistical support across various event types at the St. Petersburg Pier.
