About this file

This Appendix 6 document is issued by Pinellas County Solid Waste and provides detailed requirements for the delivery of dredged soil material from the Roosevelt Creek Channel 5 Improvements project (PID 002123A). The document outlines specific criteria for contractors delivering material to the Solid Waste facility, including that the dredged material must originate from the specified project, be dry, free of trash and debris, and pass the Method 9095 Paint Filter Liquids Test for dewatering. Deliveries must be coordinated with at least 5 business days' advanced notice, and will be processed through the main entrance of the Solid Waste facility located at 3095 114th Avenue North in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The document specifies that all delivered material will be weighed and recorded at the Scale House, with special delivery instructions to be provided by the Solid Waste Compliance Inspector, Janie Armstrong. The contractor will need to follow specific procedures for collecting and testing representative samples, weighing in at the scale house, and demonstrating the material's exemption from fees. The exact delivery location within the Solid Waste site will be communicated and may change periodically. Contact for scheduling deliveries is Janie Armstrong, who can be reached at (727) 464-7728 or jaarmstrong@co.pinellas.fl.us.
