Services include hull pressure washing, hull thickness testing using ultrasonic or Coast Guard-compatible methods, spurs line cutter replacement, removal and reconditioning of rudders, propellers, and shafts, and complete hull preparation and painting with marine-grade polyurethane materials in blue. Warranty coverage begins when the City places the unit in service and follows standard manufacturer's warranty terms, with the contractor responsible for all repairs and replacements during the warranty period at no cost to the City. The contractor must provide service within one working day of telephone notification; failure to acknowledge within two working days authorizes the City to obtain repairs from alternative vendors at the contractor's expense, billed at area average hourly labor rates inclusive of transportation and parts. Hidden damages and additional work requiring unapproved repairs must be authorized in writing by a City representative prior to commencement. The City reserves the right to conduct onsite visual inspections or accept digital photographic evidence via email for damage documentation.
