About this file

This prospectus is a state contract opportunity from the State of Wyoming for the Antler Pond Phase 2 Timber Stand Improvement (TSI) project located in Platte County. The project involves timber thinning across two project blocks totaling 91.0 acres of state land, with the primary tree species being ponderosa pine. The project requires an on-site pre-bid inspection on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, which is mandatory for potential contractors. Bids will be submitted on a lump sum basis, with one contract to be awarded based on best value to the State of Wyoming. The contract will expire on May 31, 2027.

The project allows for potential flexibility in acreage, with the project manager having the option to award additional acres if funding becomes available, based on the bid proposal's price per acre. Contractors can negotiate within a +/- 10% price variation for additional acres. The main access road crosses private lands, requiring special coordination with the adjacent landowner. Interested bidders must contact Bryan J. Anderson, District Forester, for project details and to arrange the required pre-bid site visit. The technical specifications and further project details are referenced in Attachments A and B, which are not included in this prospectus.
