About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by UChicago Argonne, LLC, operator of Argonne National Laboratory, seeking procurement of specialized scientific equipment for the Department of Energy Office of Science. The solicitation requires two specific items: 2 ACSM Detectors (model 1000-8033) with precise technical specifications for electron multiplier detection, and 2 TOF-ACSM SMA-SMA Cables (model 1000-7545) for signal transmission in mass spectrometry systems. The RFQ requires vendors to submit a signed RFQ form, completed representations and certifications, a published price list or redacted invoice to demonstrate pricing reasonableness, country of origin verification, lead time confirmation, and potential DOE or GSA contract pricing details.
Key procurement details include a quotation deadline of 03/31/2025, cash terms of net 30 days, F.O.B. destination shipping, and a solicitation number of 5-B169-Q-00391-00. The technical specifications for the ACSM Detector are extensive, requiring features such as electron multiplier detection, ultra-high vacuum compatibility, operational voltage range of 1,500-3,000 V, and compatibility with dual-filament ion source configurations. The accompanying cable must be a 1-meter coaxial RF signal cable with SMA male connectors, 50-ohm impedance, double-shielded construction, and a frequency bandwidth of minimum 3 GHz, with an operating temperature range of -20C to +60C.
