About this file
This is Amendment No. 1 to a Paulding County, Georgia Fleet Maintenance Facility pre-bid RFI response document dated February 18, 2025. The amendment addresses 18 contractor questions related to construction specifications, including clarifications on landscaping requirements (9 red maple trees, Bermuda sod, mulch types), fire alarm system requirements (new system requiring contractor-provided specs and shop drawings), mechanical systems (no central HVAC controls required), and site work details. Key construction specifications were clarified, including that no irrigation is required, all permit fees will be waived, and CAD files will be provided to plan holders.
The amendment includes detailed specifications for liquid floor treatments, listing 14 approved manufacturers and products for penetrating liquid floor treatment solutions. A significant correction was made regarding the oil separator size, confirming that a 500-gallon separator (as shown in Drawing P1.2) is correct, rather than the 1,500-gallon size referenced in utility drawing C401. The document also clarifies that BIM is not required for the project, though CAD files can be provided for delegated design trades.
