About this file
This document is Bid Amendment 3 for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property for Reflective Sheeting under Contract #T0210. The RFP includes various product groupings such as sheeting for Avery Traffic Jet, reflective and non-reflective films, and traffic tapes. The proposal submission due date has been revised to June 30, 2016. Key modifications to the RFP include adding a new product line, reorganizing the price schedule groupings, and allowing for product substitutions with prior approval. The contract will be awarded to the bidder with the lowest overall total for each product grouping that meets the RFP requirements. The contract is for the State of New Jersey and local jurisdictions such as Mercer County and Trenton City.
Pricing for the products will be evaluated on a per-group basis, with the overall lowest bidder for each group being awarded that group. The RFP indicates that brand name products are acceptable, but any proposed "equal" product substitutions must be approved. There are no explicit set-asides, incumbents, or funding sources mentioned in the amendment.
