About this file

This document is an Amendment #1 to a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for a Risk Management Software solution (BidBuy Bid # 22-494DOT-FINAD-B-26895). The RFI seeks information from vendors regarding a commercial off-the-shelf software (COTS) solution that could replace IDOT's current Risk Management Application. The RFI is open to vendors located outside the USA, such as in India or Canada, but does not require in-person meetings. Responses to the RFI are due by submitting information electronically through the BidBuy system by February 1, 2022 at 5:00 PM Central Time. There is currently no incumbent vendor providing these services, and IDOT has not secured funding or determined a timeline for a potential Request for Proposal (RFP).

The RFI does not provide details on the estimated funding source or budget for this project. It also does not specify any set-asides or pricing terms. IDOT indicates this is an internal process, and the next steps after the RFI are not defined.
