About this file
This document is Amendment #1 for PORFP BPM050284, issued by the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) on April 30, 2025, addressing questions and answers for a Cisco Video Conferencing Equipment procurement. The amendment covers the acquisition of 100 video conferencing devices, including 25 Room Bars and 25 Room Bar Pro devices, to be registered to the DPSCS Webex Control Hub. The procurement requires full device provisioning, with DPSCS staff to be trained on the process and remote support available if needed. User Acceptance Testing will be conducted through a combination of on-site and remote methods, with testing locations primarily at the Reisterstown Plaza Office Center.
The solicitation involves complex integration requirements, including potential configuration for multiple meeting platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, though DPSCS currently lacks the necessary backend licenses. The contractor will be responsible for registering devices, configuring macros, performing integration testing, and providing training sessions, potentially up to 10 sessions for different agencies and departments. Installation services will be performed at the Reisterstown Plaza Office Center, with bench configurations planned for remaining devices. No extended warranty or maintenance options were requested, and the procurement appears to be part of a Small Business Reserve (SBR) procurement under the Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services 2012 Master Contract.
