About this file
This document is Amendment 1 for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism through the Office of Procurement and Contracts. The amendment extends the bid closing date to March 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM and introduces a "Vendor Refresh" provision that allows the state to periodically re-release the IFB to update the vendor pool. The solicitation seeks on-call well maintenance and repair services for state agencies, with purchases to be quote-based and covering maintenance, repair, service parts, and installation for new and existing wells. Agencies may work with a single contractor for purchases under $25,000 without additional competitive solicitation.
The amendment indicates that the contract is intended to establish a flexible procurement mechanism for well-related infrastructure services across Kansas. The state reserves the right to re-release the IFB throughout the contract period, including potential renewal periods, to ensure a comprehensive and up-to-date vendor pool. While specific pricing details are not provided in this amendment, the procurement approach suggests an open, dynamic contracting method designed to meet the evolving maintenance needs of state agencies efficiently and with maximum vendor participation.

This bid solicitation has been extended until March 11, 2025 at 2:00PM.
The following language has been added to the specifications at the bottom of page 23. This language has been added in an effort to service multiple locations efficently throughout the State of Kansas:
Vendor Refresh: It is the State’s intent to allow for re-release of this IFB on a periodic basis in order to "refresh" the pool of vendors providing services for bid under this contract or to allow Agencies to refer local vendors to be added to the event by the Office of Procurement and Contracts This will allow for a more comprehensive up-to-date pool of available vendors from which to choose to meet the needs of the agencies. To this end, please be advised that this Invitation for Bid may be re-released, at the State’s discretion, throughout the contract period, including subsequent contract renewal periods.
This Invitation for Bid is intended to establish a contract(s) to maintain the integrity and functionality of the well and its associated infrastructure.
