About this file
This document is an amendment to a bid event (EVT0009920) issued by the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) for asphalt replacement work at the KDOT Blaine SubArea Equipment Building. The amendment revises the cost sheet and extends the project completion deadline from November 1, 2024 to November 15, 2024. Bidders are required to provide pricing on the revised cost sheet, which includes options for using KDOT-provided millings or contractor-provided commercial grade asphalt. The bid pricing is to be FOB (freight on board) destination, prepaid and allowed, with all applicable federal, state, and local taxes included in the bid price.
The revised cost sheet provides two bid options - a lump sum cost using KDOT-provided millings, and a lump sum cost for contractor-provided commercial grade asphalt (if no millings are available, a minimum depth of 5 inches is required instead of 6 inches). Bidders must submit a signed copy of the amendment with their bid response by the closing date of October 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
