About this file
This is Amendment 1 to a fixed price bid solicitation issued by the State of South Carolina Department of Administration for maintenance and repair of state vehicles and equipment. The solicitation requests services for diagnostics, repairs, and general inspections of an unspecified number of state-owned vehicles of various types. The State declined to provide detailed vehicle information, repair histories, or specific issues upfront, indicating that details will be communicated to the awarded contractor(s) on an as-needed basis for individual vehicles and equipment. Questions from offerors were due by September 30, 2024 at 4:00 PM. Offers must be submitted online by October 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Award notification is scheduled for October 11-17, 2024, with results posted on the South Carolina procurement website. The contract term and renewal options are not specified in this amendment document.
The solicitation requires contractors to provide their own diagnostic equipment and tools. Contractors must supply repair estimates and proposed completion dates for each repair project as part of the approval process outlined in the Scope of Work. Payment address, order address, and notice address information must be provided by offerors on the submission forms. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of all amendments and may offer prompt payment discounts if desired. No set-asides, incumbent information, or specific funding amounts are detailed in this amendment. Vendors must register with the State of South Carolina to obtain a vendor number prior to submission.
