About this file
This document is an amendment to the specifications for a Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Mini Excavators issued by the State of Idaho. The amended specifications outline the minimum mandatory requirements for the Mini Excavators, including details on the general specifications, diesel engine, electrical system, accessories, and specific requirements for Group 1 Mini Excavators. The solicitation is for a contract to provide Mini Excavators, with a specified operating weight, undercarriage length, width, dig depth and height, and other performance parameters. The ITB also requires specific features for the cab, boom, hydraulic system, and implements such as a hydraulic quick coupler, excavation bucket, and hydraulic blade.
The pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent, funding sources, and other commercial details are not provided in this amendment. However, the document indicates the brand names specified are intended to be descriptive rather than restrictive, and bidders offering "equal" items must include documentation demonstrating the equivalency to the State's satisfaction.
