About this file
This document is Amendment #1 to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services for the Silver Springs Carpet Removal and Carpet Tile Installation project (eMMA Solicitation BPM051562). The amendment modifies two key aspects of the original solicitation: the bid due date has been extended from Tuesday, August 19, 2025, to Wednesday, August 27, 2025, both at 2:00 pm Local Time, and the contractor's end-of-project responsibility for attic stock has been updated from 4 unopened standard 12 x 12 carpet tile cartons to 4 unopened standard 24 x 24 carpet tile cartons for each color used.
The amendment maintains the original solicitation's requirement for bidders to submit a Feedback Form if they decide not to bid, and it emphasizes that all information in the amendment is binding on prospective bidders. The document is issued by Lloyd Houston, Procurement Officer I, and reflects the standard administrative processes of the State of Maryland under Governor Wes Moore's administration. No specific pricing details, funding sources, or additional contract terms are revealed in this amendment beyond the modifications to the bid closing date and attic stock requirements.
