About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences (ADFS) for the procurement of one (1) Agilent 6230B Accurate-Mass TOF with Bruker DART-OS instrument system and four (4) Agilent 8890 Gas Chromatograph (GC)/5977C Mass Selective Detector (MSD) instrument systems. The ITB outlines the minimum requirements for the instrument systems, including specifications for the DART-TOF and GC-MSD instruments, data system requirements, and customer support provisions. The delivery location is the ADFS Dothan Laboratory in Dothan, Alabama, and installation and on-site customer familiarization are to be provided by the supplier. The ITB requires a minimum two-year warranty and two rounds of annual preventative maintenance. The contract opportunity is for the state of Alabama, specifically the jurisdictions of Dothan City.
The ITB does not provide any details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or contract term and renewal options. The document focuses solely on the technical specifications and requirements for the requested instrument systems.
