2. Will the wireless network provide access to ARS staff only or include external personnel (vendors, third party, etc) as well?

(Answer) Wireless will not have a public access part. Only GFE (Government Financed Devices) devices can connect.

3. Would you like that wireless network manage B.Y.O.D (Bring Your Own Devices)?. It will allows the end users to interconnect their own devices to ARS wireless network.

(Answer) ? Per ARS Cyber security policy, the wireless will only be for users with Enterprise Active Directory account. The fact that once they log onto the wireless, they will be connected to ARSnet.

4. The Access Point (APs) need to be Cisco or you are open to consider a different brand (Meraki) devices which allow to set up a firewall?

5. Could you please provide an estimation about how many users for each building?

a. Main building: 80 users

b. Headhouse: 5 users

c. Administration Trailer: 8 users

d. Ecology Trailer: 5 users

e. Insectory Trailer: 3 users

6. Could you please provide the existing logic and network diagram?, Could you also provide the “Show run” for existing devices?. This information will allow us to know and understand the network in order to provide the best suitable solution.

All network devices are Cisco except the FW which is Palo Alto. No need to re-engineer from scratch, just adding Cisco switches along with Wireless.

Existing Network block Diagram is HiloNetworkCurrent.pdf

7. The existing FO on site is Mono or Multi mode?

(Answer) There exist 6 pairs of mono and six pairs of Multimode from Comm1 to comm2 and same for comm1 to headhouse

8. Do you have a storage room available on site in order to keep there all hardware during the implementation stage?

(Answer) Yes.

9. Is there any exemption related to local taxes for this project?.

(Answer) No.

10) Can the customer provide the configuration of the switch?

If contactor wins total package I can provide assistance with ARS configs. What I envision when a contractor wins, we can have a pre-kick off meeting to make sure everyone is on the same page.
