Calamity Basin Habitat Treatment
SECTION F--DELIVERIES OR PERFORMANCE
F.1 Period of Performance The contractor shall complete the work under this task order within the contract time specified herein.
Work on the project is to begin on or about September 15, 2011 and last up to 205 days. Completion must be prior to June 30, 2012. Project implementation is weather dependant in that operations will only be allowed when conditions are dry or frozen in order to minimize resource damage during implementation.
The time includes all weather related stoppages, including, but not limited to, snow accumulation, saturated soils, fire restrictions, etc. The expected operating season will be year round, with the exception of certain seasonal restrictions in some units. The contractor is encouraged to consider seasonal restrictions and winter access concerns when planning work on this contract. Additional contract time may be granted in the case of stop work orders related to fire, significant periods of adverse weather, or other factors beyond the control of the contractor.
Contract time will start on the effective date specified on the Notice to Proceed, or the third day after the Post Office has issued a notice of certified mail to the contractor, or when work commences, whichever is sooner.
