Meal quantities are represent the Government’s best estimate of its requirements and are based upon the estimated residential student population for Program Year 2010. Saturday, Sunday, and holiday estimates are ten students lower per day based on the average number of students on off-center pass. Calculations are for 47 weeks per year and do not include the times when students are on the two breaks, one during the summer and one during the winter, both about 2 ½ weeks long each. Invoices will be prepared and sent to the COR at the end of each month. The invoices are based on the daily report of students actually on Center for the meals. The Contractor is paid according to the number of students who are on center for the meals, as determined by our daily report – which is published every day but weekends and holidays. The report is published from information gathered at the 6:00 a.m. morning check. For the weekend and holiday’s the prior Friday’s daily report is used, minus those students who are on pass.
