10. THE GOVERNMENT REQUIRES PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK DESCRIBED IN THESE DOCUMENTS (Title, identifying no., date):

The USDA Forest Service, Apache—Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for Forestwide Road Maintenance, Repairs, Construction, Trails, Installation of Culverts and Cattle-guards, Small Building Construction (non-residential), and other Miscellaneous Structure projects. All of this work is covered under the Davis-Bacon Act, for which wage determinations for various locations will be incorporated into the solicitation packages. This work may consist of road blading, dozer maintenance on roads, hauling, aggregate and borrow placement, culvert installations, clearing roadsides and/or trails, constructing trails, miscellaneous road and parking lot construction or repair, concrete and asphalt patching and or paving, road crack sealing, small construction of non-residential buildings, sign construction, guardrail construction, and other miscellaneous work. The Government anticipates making multiple awards (MAS) of Firm Fixed-Price IDIQ (Indefinite-Delivery / Indefinite-Quantity) contracts under the Request For Proposal (RFP) format. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $31.0 Million under NAICS code 237310.

Price Range: The Government's estimate is:

Some Task Orders below $25,000

Some Task Orders between $25,000 and $100,000.

Some Task Orders between $100,000 and $250,000.

Minimum for each awarded contract is $500.

Percentage add-on for Task Orders outside the normal work zones for Apache-Sitgreaves NF Zones 1,2, & 3 (percentage added to pricing of nearest zone to task order location), in State of Arizona, to cover higher operating costs for equipment (do not include costs for per diem or lodging).

Percentage add-on for fuel surcharge if price per gallon of Diesel Fuel exceeds 25% of projected average fuel cost of $2.75 per gallon (includes all taxes) from time of award. Price increase must exceed 4 weeks duration to qualify for surcharge.
