Definitions: addresses terms related to the future state requirements for the Integrated Project Solution (e.g., Fit and Gap) as depicted in the "IPS Requirements" tab.

Priority Mandatory: A mandatory requirement supports an essential mission-critical business need, statutory requirement and/or regulatory requirement that must be implemented and met. The requirements also include best business practices that the Federal Human Resources (HR) community has agreed must be adopted. Note: only mandatory requirements are expected out-of-the-box.

Critical: A critical requirement supports an essential business need likely to become mandatory at some point in the future. However, new legislation and policies may accelerate the change in requirements designation. A change management process has been established to control the timing around when critical requirements become mandatory.

Useful: A useful requirement supports an important but nonessential business need that may become critical or mandatory in the future. Vendors will not be pressed to meet all useful requirements, but useful requirements will distinguish solutions and services in the marketplace. Over time, market forces may compel vendors to meet useful requirements.

FIT/GAP Column

Fit/Gap column includes the following two drop-downs for selection

1. Meets: the system's current out-of-the-box capability meets the future-state requirements for the OSOH/WC System.

2. Does Not Meet: the system's current out-of-the-box capability does not meet the future-state requirements for the OSOH/WC System. If the requirement is not met by the current out-of-the-box capability, and there is the ability for a potential workaround, please use Column E: Comments to address how the workaround will be completed (e.g., Future development, additional costs, etc.)
