Amendment 01 – Q&A
Q1: Will Task Order competition post award be restricted to WOSB?
A1: No, Task Orders will be competed amongst all contract holders. The only exception to this shall be to satisfy the guaranteed minimums in the Base Period.
Q2: Do our proposed prices have to total less than $4.75M to be considered for award?
A2: No, the bid schedule represents the Governments best estimate only.
Q3: Re: C.5.3.2,4) Will research of General Land Office (GLO) survey plats be enough, or is the contractor expected to research the accompanying field notes as well?
A3: Investigators should incorporate review of GLO survey plats for site leads during pre-field, if available; accompanying survey notes may provide additional information on specifically mapped site leads, but line-by-line review of survey notes is not required for the entirety of survey parcels
Q4: Will USFS conduct periodic audits of the MATOC winners to ensure that SCA wages and health and welfare benefits are being paid?
A4: The Government is not required to conduct audits of this nature on service contracts – only construction.
