GWJ105.1 (8/94)

105.03 First paragraph, change the first sentence to read:

Sampling

& Testing "For the contractor-furnished source(s) listed below, the contractor shall submit weight tickets which state Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) gradation and are in compliance with same Quality Assurance Program. This requirement constitutes aggregate source certification for sampling and testing in accordance with AASHTO requirements through the VDOT sampling and testing program. However, the VDOT quality assurance program shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility for furnishing material which conforms to the specifications and may be rejected as non-compliant in whole or part.
