F. Class 1 and 2 Control Circuits: Type THHN-THWN, in raceway.

3.3 INSTALLATION OF CONDUCTORS AND CABLES

A. Conceal cables in finished walls, ceilings, and floors, unless otherwise indicated.

B. Use manufacturer-approved pulling compound or lubricant where necessary; compound used must not deteriorate conductor or insulation. Do not exceed manufacturer's recommended maximum pulling tensions and sidewall pressure values.

C. Use pulling means, including fish tape, cable, rope, and basket-weave wire/cable grips, that will not damage cables or raceway.

D. Install exposed cables parallel and perpendicular to surfaces of exposed structural members, and follow surface contours where possible.

E. Support cables according to Division 16 Section "Basic Electrical Construction Methods and Materials."

F. Identify and color-code conductors and cables according to Division 16 Section "Electrical Identification."

3.4 CONNECTIONS

A. Tighten electrical connectors and terminals according to manufacturer's published torque- tightening values. If manufacturer's torque values are not indicated, use those specified in UL 486A and UL 486B.

B. Make splices and taps that are compatible with conductor material and that possess equivalent or better mechanical strength and insulation ratings than unspliced conductors.

C. Interior Penetrations of Non-Fire-Rated Walls and Floors: Seal annular space between sleeve and cable, using joint sealant appropriate for size, depth, and location of joint according to Division 7 Section "Joint Sealants."

D. Aboveground Exterior-Wall Penetrations: Seal penetrations using sleeves and mechanical sleeve seals. Size sleeves to allow for 1-inch (25-mm) annular clear space between pipe and sleeve for installing mechanical sleeve seals.

E. Underground Exterior-Wall Penetrations: Install cast-iron "wall pipes" for sleeves. Size sleeves to allow for 1-inch (25-mm) annular clear space between cable and sleeve for installing mechanical sleeve seals.

3.5 SLEEVE-SEAL INSTALLATION

A. Install to seal underground exterior-wall penetrations.

B. Use type and number of sealing elements recommended by manufacturer for cable material and size. Position cable in center of sleeve. Assemble mechanical sleeve seals and install in annular space between cable and sleeve. Tighten bolts against pressure plates that cause sealing elements to expand and make watertight seal.

All wiring shall be enclosed in metal conduit and meet NEC (National Electric Code), latest edition, and any other state, or local codes.

02 – Antenna

02.1 - Summary of Work

Work will include:

Remove existing antenna to facilitate construction of top section. The feedline may remain if it is deemed servicable and will not impede contruction. Once constuction is complete, antenna will be remounted on a sidearm mount at the 80’ level on the same leg from which it was removed. Existing feedline may be reused if servicable.

Install six antennas and associated coaxial cables. Two (2) UHF Yagi antennas will be mounted on the northernmost leg, pointed at nine (9) degrees to Loon Mountain; two (2) UHF Yagi antennas will be mounted on the easternmost leg, pointed at thirty (30) degrees to Mount Tecumseh; and two (2) VHF omnidirectional antennas on the east facing leg. Where multiple antennas are mounted to a given tower leg, there will be a minimum vertical separation of five (5) feet for UHF and ten (10) feet for VHF.

Feedlines to each antenna will be grounded per R56 Site Installation Standards and secured to the tower with appropriate hangar devices. Each cable will be terminated with N-type female connectors on both ends. Connections to each antenna will be completed using coaxial cable jumpers.
