Cross Section of 24” Pipe – Station 0+80

Tenas Creek ERFO Work List

Station Description

0+00 Barrier Log across road, Begin placement of 8” (compacted depth) of crushed aggregate.

0+80 Install 24” x 36’ corrugated polyethylene pipe approximately perpendicular to roadway. A large inlet basin must be constructed at this location. A dead log is buried in the material above the road where the inlet basin must be constructed. This log as well as several small alders must be removed and will be hauled to the disposal site and stacked as directed by the Contracting Officer.

Material removed for the construction of the inlet basin (approximately 50 cubic yards) will also be hauled to the disposal site and placed as directed by the Contracting Officer.

Following the culvert installation, the fill slope will be reconstructed to a width consistent with the roadway on either side of the failed area in the culvert location. This width is estimated to be an 18’ subgrade with a 14’ traveled way after placement of crushed aggregate surfacing. Material for the subgrade shall be from a commercial source. (Approximately 200 cubic yards)

1+80 Install 18” x 40’ corrugated polyethylene pipe with a 15 degree right forward skew. Construct inlet basin (Approximately 10 cubic yards) Waste material will be hauled to the disposal site.

This width is estimated to be an 18’ subgrade with a 14’ traveled way after placement of crushed aggregate surfacing. Material for the subgrade shall be from a commercial source. (Approximately 50 cubic yards)

1+90 Recondition existing road prior to placement of crushed aggregate.

Place 8” (compacted depth) of crushed aggregate from 1+90 to bridge and 100 feet beyond bridge.

4+00 Bridge end: Remove old bridge railing including bridge approach rail and posts. Install new bridge railing on both sides of bridge.

See General Notes and Bridge Railing Sheet.
