Q1: Where is the access to the bunkhouse attic?

A: Access to the attic is located on the west end of the bunkhouse, above the porch. Remove the louver above the porch to access the attic.

Q2: What is the overhead clearance of the power lines along the main road into the new administration site?

A: Refer to Revised Sheet 7; clearance was measured to be between 19 and 21 feet.

Q3: On Sheet 14, Elevations are not provided on profile view.

A: Refer to revised Sheet 14

Q4: An investigation of an underground utility vault (located adjacent to the location where the old visitor center is to be placed) did not indicate electrical conduit was installed. Was electrical conduit installed to the location where the barracks is to be placed?

A: According to as-built drawings for the Middle Kyle Canyon Administrative Site project, electrical conduit was installed parallel to the telecom conduit; the electrical conduit goes through a handhole located to the north of the telecom vault. Refer to revised sheets 7 and 9 for details.

Q5: Where does the telecom conduit tie into the bunkhouse upon its relocation to the new Administrative site?

A: The telecom conduit is to tie into the common area of the bunkhouse; the approximate location is shown on revised Sheet 9.

Q6: Where is the disposal area for excess excavated material not used to fill Kyle Wash (for the removal of the bunkhouse at the old administrative site)?

A: Dispose excess material at the old administrative site; disposal area will be within a 100 foot radius of the current location of the bunkhouse and the final location will be determined by the COR.

Q7: Who is the propane supplier (for removing propane from the tanks prior to relocation)?

A: Suburban Propane

Q8: On the north end of the bunkhouse, there is an electrical conduit coming out of the exterior siding and travels into the ground. Is it still functioning?

A: The conduit went to an exterior electrical outlet attached to the fence line along the north end of the bunkhouse. The fence and outlet have been removed and the electrical conduit is no longer operational.

However, the electrical line in the conduit still remains in place and is functioning. The breaker controlling this outlet (which controls the dining room area of the bunkhouse) is shut off to disable this exterior electrical line.

Q9: Will the two “conex” containers be emptied of their contents prior to relocation?

A: Yes

~45’

Amendment #2 note: The Com wire is coiled in the vault at location “A” ready to pull to the bunkhouse terminus of the conduit (already installed).

There is no conduit/com cable from the vault to the new training building, this will need to be installed as a part of this contract.

The electrical feed wire is stubbed to a pull-box at location “B”. There is conduit installed to within 5’ of the bunkhouse and the training building foundation from that point. The wire is un-cut and coiled in the Fire Cash for this installation (Wire is Government Furnished Equipment). Lines will have to be pulled and conduit/boxes installed as necessary to make final connection to the buildings as a part of this contract.
