About this file
This is an Advertisement for Bids issued by the Eaton County Public Schools (ECPS) in Michigan for classroom renovation services. The project encompasses renovation work across multiple classrooms within the school district's facilities. Interested bidders are required to submit sealed bids by the specified deadline, with bids to be opened publicly at the designated time and location. The advertisement includes notification of a pre-bid site visit opportunity, allowing potential bidders to inspect the project locations and familiarize themselves with existing conditions prior to preparing their proposals. The project is funded through the school district's capital improvement budget and general operating funds. Bidders must provide detailed cost proposals including labor, materials, equipment, and all associated expenses necessary to complete the classroom renovation work according to the specifications and drawings provided. The bid documents require compliance with prevailing wage requirements and applicable Michigan labor laws. All proposals must include evidence of contractor licensing, insurance coverage, and references from similar projects. Award of the contract is contingent upon bid responsiveness, contractor qualifications, and board of education approval.
