About this file
This is an Additional Terms and Conditions document for a state and local contract opportunity issued by Alabama Industrial Development Training (AIDT) for janitorial services. The mandatory site visit is scheduled for Friday, November 19, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at AIDT, 2913 E. South Blvd., Montgomery, Alabama 36117. Failure to attend the site visit will result in bid rejection. Suppliers must submit questions through the Alabama Buys supplier portal by Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Award will be made on an "all or none" basis to the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications. The resulting contract will have an initial 12-month term with options to extend for four additional 12-month periods, contingent upon written approval from both the state and supplier at least 30 days prior to the expiration of each term. Suppliers must provide three references for companies of equal or greater square footage where similar services were provided, including company name, address, telephone number, contact person, and service timeframe.
Suppliers must submit a minimum liability insurance certificate of $2,000,000 with $1,000,000 per occurrence, with the State of Alabama listed as certificate holder, or the bid will be rejected. Any price increases for materials or labor must be documented and cannot exceed increases in the Consumer Price Index for the same period; all increases require written approval from both parties. Price decreases must be passed to the state immediately. Worker's Compensation Certificates are required for suppliers employing five or more employees. Awarded suppliers must submit E-Verify documentation, a completed Vendor Disclosure Statement, and maintain full registration and active status in Alabama Buys. Additional information requested by the Division of Procurement must be provided within five business days or risk bid rejection. Supplier negligence or failure to perform may be reviewed for impacts to responsibility status under Alabama Code 41-4-130 at the discretion of the Chief Procurement Officer.
