About this file
This document is an addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service for a Statewide Fire Prevention Campaign. The purpose is to continue a public awareness campaign with messages to prevent human-caused wildfires and protect residents and visitors from the increased wildfire threat. The RFP seeks a qualified vendor to conduct campaign research, create a marketing plan and strategy, follow branding guidelines, create campaign collateral, and manage and implement the project. The campaign is expected to launch on February 1, 2023. Vendors must demonstrate their firm's capabilities and qualifications to perform the required services. The RFP provides clarification on various aspects of the proposal submission, including documentation for qualifications, budget plan, and delivery requirements. The contract will be a fixed-price arrangement, and the incumbent agency, BowStern, is eligible to win the new contract.
The campaign will utilize existing branding and pre-existing creative elements, and the vendor will be responsible for refreshing or creating new creative as needed. The indicators of success for the project will be the impressions made across the state. The RFP states that all communications channels have been successful so far, and the vendor will be required to support and integrate the campaign with the existing "Be Wildfire Ready" webpage.
