About this file

This file comprises two addenda issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for Invitation to Bid (RFB-116-25) related to the repair of a concrete storage tank at Greenbo Lake State Resort Park in Greenup, Kentucky. Addendum One, issued November 15, 2024, and Addendum Two, issued November 19 and 20, 2024, provide clarifications and modifications to the original bidding documents. The project includes civil and electrical work with specific requirements for SCADA controller programming to interface with the Building Automation System (BAS), load center specifications including a Square D Loadcentre with surge protection devices, and antenna tower delegated design. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of all addenda in their proposals and must incorporate all incidental work necessitated by the addenda into their bids.

Addendum Two specifies that the Owner will conduct PCB testing on an existing pad-mounted transformer; if PCBs are present, the contractor must dispose of the transformer using EPA-compliant environmental disposal methods with costs covered via change order. Additional specifications require only copper conductors in conduit for medium-voltage cables and revise requirements for pad-mounted liquid-filled transformers by omitting certain sections. The civil addendum references existing site conditions, including retention of existing drying bed walls and foundations, and permits the reuse of broken-down concrete from an existing clearwell as fill material and existing water treatment plant concrete blocks for fill, provided all structural steel is removed beforehand. No pricing, funding sources, incumbent contractor information, or contract term details are specified in these addenda documents.
