Addendum to FAR 52.212-1
Changes to FAR 52.212-1 Paragraph (c) Period for acceptance of offers is changed to sixty (60) calendar days.
Quote Preparation Instructions To assure timely and equitable evaluation of quotes, the Offeror must follow the instructions contained herein. Offerors are required to meet all Request for Quotation (RFQ) requirements, including terms and conditions, representations and certifications, and technical requirements. Offerors must clearly identify any exception to the RFQ terms and conditions and provide complete accompanying rationale for such exceptions. Non- conformance with the instructions in the addenda to 52.212-1 may result in an unfavorable evaluation.
All referenced documents for this RFQ are available on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) website at: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil//.
Only electronic quotes will be accepted and must be submitted in accordance with Block 6 on the front page of this solicitation (Form 1449).
Only one type of currency may be proposed. Only United Stated Dollars (USD) or Euro (EUR) are acceptable. All unit prices will be rounded to two decimal places. If quotes are received in USD and in Euro’s then the quotes in Euro’s will be converted to USD. Prices will be converted using the rate published on the web site www.oanda.com. Conversion of prices will be made at the time the offer is evaluated by the contracting office. In the event US Dollars are offered, the contractor is required to have a bank account with an American Bank physically located in the United States.
List of items to submit The contractor must provide the following information in order to be considered for award.
1. Completed Attachment 1 “Item description and Prices”
| 2. | Completed FAR 52.212-3, as applicable. |
| 3. | The submission of an offer in response to a request for quotation which references this document constitutes the offeror’s compliance with the representations and certifications and acceptance of the individual clauses and provisions incorporated by reference herein. |
Addendum to FAR 52.212-2
Basis for Award A single BPA will be awarded. Offers will be evaluated using Lowest Total Evaluated Price.
Award will be made to the vendor whose quote represents the lowest total evaluated price. The total evaluated price is calculated by adding the prices of each item together on a vendor’s quote to determine a total sum. The resulting total sums will be used for price evaluation. Vendors who fail to submit a quote for all requested line items will not be considered for an award.
