About this file

This document is an addendum to Invitation to Bid No. RFB-100-27 issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for a chiller replacement project at the Oakwood Building 501 in Somerset, Kentucky, which serves the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Addendum No. One addresses three bidder questions and clarifies specifications and drawings for the replacement chiller installation. The addendum requires bidders to acknowledge receipt on their proposal forms and establishes that all changes outlined become binding upon contract issuance. Key clarifications include contractor responsibility for extending the existing concrete pad as required to accommodate the chiller's footprint with a minimum 4-inch extension past equipment perimeter, verification of required clearances between units (24 inches minimum with control panels on opposite ends or 48 inches with alternate panel placement) with manufacturer confirmation, specification that exterior ductwork shall be constructed of stainless steel, and addition of Dunham-Bush to the acceptable manufacturers list in Specification Section 236423 for Scroll Water Chillers.

No pricing information, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, response dates, or contract term details are provided in this addendum document.
