About this file

This is an addendum to an Invitation to Bid (RFB-22-27) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for a multi-park structural investigation at East General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton, Kentucky. The addendum contains two binding changes to the original bid documents: bidders must use the revised Subcontractor List in place of the previously issued version, and the official bid date has been moved to August 19, 2026, at 1:30 P.M. Eastern Time. The revised subcontractor list requires bidders to identify proposed subcontractors for six branches of work: demolition, earthwork, fire protection, concrete, structural steel, and rough carpentry. All subcontractors are subject to approval by the Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, and bidders must submit a completely filled-out list with their proposals or face bid rejection. If the Commonwealth requests replacement of a subcontractor on the bid opening day, the apparent low bidder must provide a replacement subcontractor by close of business that day.

The document emphasizes that bidders are solely responsible for selecting qualified and competent subcontractors to accomplish the intended work. All blanks on the subcontractor list must be completed, with bidders indicating either the name of the proposed subcontractor or stating "Prime/General Contractor" if the work will be performed by the bidder itself without subcontracting. Subcontractor review and evaluation will occur on the bid opening day, and failure to comply with replacement requirements may result in bid rejection. No pricing information, set-asides, incumbency status, or funding details are specified in this addendum document.
