Addendum No. 4 to Invitation to Bid No. 2021-0009 for Burke Street Sewer Rehabilitation

This addendum modifies the bidding documents for the City of Stockbridge, Georgia's Burke Street Sewer Rehabilitation project, administered by the Purchasing Division with engineering support from Carter & Sloope, Inc. The project scope includes furnishing labor, equipment, and materials to install approximately 1,650 linear feet of 8" and 10" DIP/PVC and FPVC sewer by open-cut method, 900 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe lining, 100 linear feet of jack and bore work, construction of four new manholes and rehabilitation of eleven existing manholes, bypass pumping operations, roadway and pavement replacement, earthwork, grassing, and soil erosion and sediment control measures. The critical change in Addendum No. 4 is the extension of the bid due date from September 30, 2021, to October 7, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. EDT, while the deadline for submitting questions remained unchanged at September 3, 2021. The addendum adds six new specification sections covering notice to proceed, modifications to existing structures and equipment, flow diversion systems, removal and replacement of pavement, and sidewalk and curb construction. All bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their bid submissions to avoid disqualification.

The project is funded with local funds from the City of Stockbridge. Sealed unit price bids are required, and contractors must provide proof of a valid Georgia State Utility Contractor license and employ a certified Utility Manager to oversee all work. Prospective bidders must submit their contractor license number on both the bid envelope and bid form along with proof of valid licensure. Bid documents are available on the City of Stockbridge website, the Georgia Procurement Registry, and the Georgia Municipal Association portal. All other terms, conditions, and specifications of the original solicitation remain unchanged unless further modified by subsequent addenda.
