About this file
This document is Addendum No. 02 for an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Office of State Procurement for the State of Louisiana, specifically for a Herbicide Treatment project (RFx Number 3000024987). The bid is scheduled to open at 10:00 AM CT on 08/05/2025, and the addendum addresses five vendor questions related to the project. Key clarifications include permission to spray invasive plants (except Cypress trees), allowance for using ATVs and Argos to access sites, confirmation that subcontractors are permitted, and verification that this is a single, non-divisible job.
The addendum provides additional context about contractor requirements, specifically noting that the previously mentioned structural place of business permit is no longer required for bidding. Vendors are informed that while subcontractors can be used, the primary bidder remains responsible for meeting all solicitation requirements, including insurance and licensing. The document also indicates that an additional Attachment F (Sign-In Sheet) has been added to the bid package, and provides instructions for acknowledging the addendum or submitting bid revisions prior to the bid opening date.
