About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by Prince George's County Government, Office of Procurement, for Veterinary Services (Solicitation No. WS1806934386). The solicitation seeks qualified and licensed veterinary service providers to furnish comprehensive veterinary medical services for the Prince George's County Animal Services Division, including examinations, diagnostics, medical treatment, surgical procedures, emergency services, vaccinations, disease prevention, spay/neuter services, and related veterinary care. The County anticipates contracting with two to three qualified veterinarians for services performed at the Prince George's County Animal Services Facility, and an unlimited number of qualified veterinarians to establish a pool of veterinary resources for services performed outside the facility. A pre-bid conference was held on August 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with attendance sheets and PowerPoint presentation materials included as attachments. The original bid due date of September 3, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. has been extended to September 9, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Questions and responses received by August 25, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. are included in this addendum.

This addendum reflects administrative updates to the original solicitation, including removal of all "FY27" references and changes from "Acting Director" to "Director" throughout the document. Veterinarians contracted under this solicitation must provide their own stethoscope; the Animal Services Facility will provide all remaining supplies and equipment necessary for service performance. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of Addendum No. 1 by signing and returning it with their quote submission, as failure to do so may render the quote non-responsive.
