About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 1 related to a state and local contract opportunity for NBS Temp Services issued by the Maryland Department of Health. The addendum provides responses to bidders' questions, including clarification on overtime rates, expected working days, whether this is a new or renewal contract, the current contractor, and the availability of previous bid details. The contract opportunity seeks a vendor to provide clerical support to the Newborn Screening unit, with bids not to exceed $50,000.
The addendum confirms that subcontracting is not mandatory, and that any vendor registered through the State of Maryland and eMaryland Marketplace is eligible to bid. It also states that the contents of the proposals will be sealed until the solicitation closes. The current contractor for this service is Beacon Staffing, and the minimum estimated hours for all job positions is 40 hours per week.
