About this file

Addendum No. 1 is issued by Walker Consultants for the City of Port Huron's Parking Structure Repairs 2024 project, with bids to be received by 3:00 p.m. on June 17, 2024. The addendum provides clarifications and requirements for the rehabilitation project, including specifications for supplier and installer qualifications, scheduling constraints, and work limitations. Key requirements include compliance with Specification Section 033818 for qualifications, concurrent work in evidence rooms, advance notice for work in specific areas, and restrictions on noise and dust-generating work during certain times.

The addendum addresses operational considerations for the parking structure, stipulating that contractors cannot impede access to fuel pumps, must provide advance notice before impacting certain areas like the drop-off station, and cannot perform work in or above occupied parking stalls. A submitted question regarding alternative repair methods (installing beams instead of post-tensioned cable repairs) was denied. The project appears to involve detailed rehabilitation of a parking structure with specific operational constraints to minimize disruption to the facility's ongoing use.
