Question: Page E507 of the plans show the following for the Photovoltaic system System A (part of the hard bid) shows 150 modules (assuming 400W) each = 150x400 is 60kW DC for the base bid.*** Kentucky state law does not allow Interconnections over 45KW DC unless the Cogeneration Application for interconnection. *** Question #1 Is CMTA / and the client expecting us to take this path for interconnect? (see comment below) Per KY state law and associated electric regulations, solar Net Metering offered by Salt River Electric is a 45kW AC maximum. For all installations greater than 45kW, the solar installation is subject to the federal PURPA law and Salt River Electric and East Kentucky Power confirming tariffs. Please utilize the link below to obtain information pertaining to your PURPA qualifying facility. Please complete the online application.

4.44. Question: Spec Section 075600-1.1 Summary Section A - Cold Applied PMMA/PMA flashings. PMMA Flashings are for BUR and SBS membrane products not EPDM membrane products, is this applicable? Does not seem that a roof assembly with BUR or SBS sheets are on the project
Addendum 2 Page 8 of 8
4.45. Question: Detail 8/A161 calls for Multi-purpose flashing cement. This will eat through the EPDM membrane and should only have Bonding adhesive in this location per manufacturer. Is this referring to flashing cement as bonding adhesive in these locations?
4.46. Question: In regards to site access, during the site walkthrough it was indicated from the folks at the walk through that construction traffic was expected to come off Gateway Blvd., across their north lot, through the secured rear lot (wit with a GC supplied temporary fence separating traffic from secured area – they mentioned moving items to within the secure area), and utilizing the drive that exists in the construction area. This would be extremely ideal for the project and also reduce risk of track out / construction traffic on Conrad. If we utilize rear of site, the track out would be knocked off for the most part prior to leaving site. Looking to clarify this and the virtual meeting seemed to not exactly clarify.
Answer: Refer to revised sheet CE101 EPSC Plan West.
4.47. Question: Provide Specification for the site flagpoles
4.48. Question: 055000 Does not mention the steel work benches and POL tables in the warehouse. Are these Contractor Furnished/Contractor installed. If so, do they get painted?
