3.2. 042000 UNIT MASONRY section 2.6 BRICK item C Manufacturers – Basis of Design Belden Indian Read Clear FG. Other manufacturer’s are acceptable as long as they can meet the performance and aesthetic characteristics of the Basis of Design.

4.1. Question: We did not find a qualification in the 04200 Unit Masonry spec section that alternates would be considered per architects’ discretion.

http://www.eopa.com/

Addendum 1 Page 2 of 2

Answer: Other manufacturer’s are acceptable as long as they can meet the performance and aesthetic characteristics of the Basis of Design.

4.2. Question: Where are the underground storm chambers described, as referenced on drawing CG101 & CG102 by Sheet Keynote #13?

Answer: They are located in the POV lot and in the MEP lot by the main entrance. The extents of the gravel is shown as a dashed line, however, this is an approximation, as needs to be further designed by the contractor/chamber manufacturer.

4.3. Question: Looking at drawing CS101B, a retaining wall is called out by Sheet Keynote #31. Most drawings I see have a top of wall and bottom of wall elevations at all changes in slope of the top or bottom. Please provide. Is detail 5/S502 the wall for this location? It appears way too large for the elevation changes…..

Answer: Please see revised sheets CG101B for spot elevations of the retaining wall. Revisions to sheet S502, for updated retaining wall detail to be forthcoming in future addendum.

4.4. Question: In the spec section 146300 HOIST AND CRANES paragraph 2.2 calls for a shawbox or kone hoist is and or equal acceptable?

Answer: Other manufacturer’s are acceptable as long as they can meet the performance requirements of the specifications and Basis of Design.
