Summary: Addendum 4 - Food Products and Distribution Services
This is Addendum 4 to a competitive solicitation issued by the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System in Georgia for food products and distribution services. The addendum modifies the original solicitation terms and requirements. Specific details regarding product specifications, service delivery requirements, quantities, response deadlines, bid due dates, mandatory or optional site visits, bidders' conferences, contract award dates, and contract term with renewal options are contained within this addendum document and should be reviewed in conjunction with the base solicitation.
The addendum addresses pricing structures, evaluation criteria, any applicable set-asides for minority or women-owned vendors, incumbent vendor information, and other material terms affecting the competitive bidding process. Prospective vendors should carefully review all addendum provisions, as they modify or clarify the original solicitation requirements and may impact bid preparation, submission timelines, and contract award considerations.

Question Response
1. I do not have a notary locally here and will need to send these to Houston for approval. May we submit these forms later?
While all forms are required, Bidders will not be required to submit notarized forms with their initial bid submittal due to COVID-19. However, all forms must be signed.
The successful Bidder will be required to submit notarized forms during the administrative review process.
If the successful Bidder fails to supplement the notarized forms with notarized copies or if it appears that a form originally submitted was false then the District reserves the right to rescind any contract before or after award and/or hold the Bidder liable for damages.
2. Also the references are taking longer than I expected. May we submit these later as well?
No. Bidders need to complete Form 3 of the solicitation that requests Reference Company Name, Contact Person, Phone Number, Fax Number, and Email. This form with your LIST of references should be included with your bid submittal . The Purchasing Department will be responsible for contacting each company to obtain your reference from them.
***ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED***
