About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 3 issued by the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) for Contract No. MRC-23-022-MT, the MARC IV Truck Overhaul project. The addendum modifies the insurance requirements outlined in the original Invitation for Bid (IFB). The key changes include removing the requirement for Railroad Protective Liability Insurance and instead requiring a Temporary Occupancy Permit under the MTA's Blanket Railroad Protective Liability Program. Additionally, the Commercial General Liability Insurance and Commercial Auto Liability policies must be endorsed to remove exclusions related to work performed on or near railroad property. The addendum also removes the requirements for Professional Liability Insurance and Terrorism Coverage.
The MARC IV Railcar Overhaul project is a state and local contract opportunity in Maryland. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this Addendum No. 3 by completing and returning the form provided. All other terms and conditions of the original IFB remain unchanged.
