About this file

This document is Addendum 3 to the Plans and Specifications for the 66th Street Industrial Park Waterline Improvements Phase 1 (Project No. W-2410C1) issued by the City of Enid, Oklahoma. The project involves installing waterlines in the industrial park area, spanning sections in Garfield County. The addendum provides clarifications and modifications to the original contract documents, including specifications for waterline installation methods, materials, and construction requirements. Key clarifications include permitting for dry boring with 10 ft cover, removal of casing spacer requirements, installation of fire hydrants, and use of 24" OD C906 HDPE pipe. The project requires maintaining 66th Street's through traffic during construction and uses horizontal directional drilling for bores.

The contract includes detailed bid items and quantities for various waterline components, such as pipe materials (HDPE and PVC), gate valves, fire hydrant assemblies, and associated installation work. The proposal outlines base bid and alternate bid options, with specific line items for mobilization, construction staking, traffic control, pipe installation, and various other infrastructure improvements. The contractor is required to provide performance and maintenance bonds, maintain public liability insurance, and complete the project within the calendar days specified in the bid. The addendum indicates that materials and installation are separate line items, and the project involves waterline segments on Chestnut Avenue that are owned by the City of Enid.
