About this file
This is Addendum #3 to a contract opportunity issued by the City of Peachtree City, Georgia for the installation of a pedestrian hybrid beacon and path crossing/striping at North Peachtree Parkway and Kedron Boat Ramp (Project 23-105BPW). The addendum clarifies two key requirements regarding traffic control and stormwater management. The City confirmed that two message boards are required only during the seven days prior to project activation, rather than throughout the entire project duration, which may extend approximately six months due to long lead times for mast arms. The traffic control plan must demonstrate how the contractor will manage traffic throughout the entire project period. Additionally, the City confirmed that water quality inspections and sampling are not required for this project since the disturbed area is less than one acre.
The contractor is responsible for inspecting and maintaining all stormwater best management practices shown on the plans at all times and after every rain event, in accordance with the erosion control plans. The seven-day inspection by the design engineer and water quality sampling requirements have been waived due to the project's minimal disturbance footprint. This addendum was issued on February 15, 2023.

ADDENDUM #3
1. QUESTION: Should the Contractor have 2 message boards during the whole time until completion? My question is because we have a long lead time for mast arms so is around 6 months paying for 2 message boards. CITY’S RESPONSE: 2 Message boards not required for whole duration of project, just the 7 days prior to activation. Traffic control plan is to show how they will manage traffic during entire duration of project.
2. QUESTION: On new plans show water quality inspections 4mo, can you confirm that is not required to have these testing? CITY’S RESPONSE: Since this site is less than 1.0 acre disturbed, the 7-day inspection by the design engineer is not required. Neither is water quality sampling. Contractor is required to inspect and maintain stormwater best management practices shown on the plans at all times and after every rain event and other notes stated on the erosion control plans.
