About this file

This document is an addendum to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the replacement of finished and raw water pumps and motors at the Water Treatment Plant in Woodstock, Virginia. The addendum provides clarification on the disposal of the old pumps and motors, confirmation that the existing motors can be reused, and specifications for the pump discharge heads and gasket material. The related state and local contract opportunity involves the Town of Woodstock seeking qualified bidders to remove the existing pumps and motors and furnish complete new pumps with the same horsepower and hydraulic design points. An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on August 9, 2024, and bids are due by August 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM EST. The Town will award the contract to the bidder that best meets the stated criteria, which includes ability, capacity, skill, responsiveness, cost, and evaluation of previous projects. Bidders must have a valid Virginia Contractor's License of at least a Class B and submit the required documentation.

The procurement documents do not indicate any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, nor do they reference any incumbent vendors or current contractors. The award value or budget range for this project is not provided in the available information.
