About this file
This document is an Addendum to an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Food, Nutrition and Wellness (FDACS or Department) for marketing, media planning and media buying services. The ITN covers multiple child nutrition programs, including the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, and Healthier US School Challenge Initiative. The annual budget for these services is $1,000,000, with the Department encouraging prospective vendors to propose their preferred media mix and budget allocation. The anticipated contract term is October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2025, with the planning phase scheduled from January 3, 2023, to April 18, 2023, and activation from May to August.
The Addendum clarifies that the vendor's reply should focus on all child nutrition programs, not just the Summer Food Service program. It also notes that the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program and Healthier US School Challenge Initiative are secondary programs that will need budget considerations, and the Department does not have set budgets for each marketing plan component, encouraging vendors to propose their preferred methodology and media mix percentage.
