About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Bids (RFB) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the St. Petersburg Chiller Plant Replacement project. The RFB seeks competitive pricing for the replacement of Chiller #3 and related pumps, as well as connection to the new building automation system. The RFB requires bidders to be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and with SunBiz prior to the bid opening. Bid responses are due no later than 3:30 PM ET on Thursday, August 8, 2024. The Addendum addresses various questions and answers related to the project, including the handling of old equipment, acceptable controls manufacturers, bond requirements, parking and staging areas, chiller manufacturer options, balancing valves, and insulation requirements.

The RFB does not mention any set-asides, incumbents, or specific funding sources. However, it states that the project is expected to start in March 2025. Contractors must coordinate with the City of St. Petersburg for required inspections during construction. The project will involve the use of the latest approved refrigerants from the EPA in lieu of what is specified on the drawings.
