About this file
This is Addendum #2 for the City of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin Youth Baseball Complex Fencing Project (RFB #24-PRF09), issued by the City of Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department to clarify and modify the scope of work for fencing improvements on four youth baseball and softball diamonds. The addendum specifies that all existing batting cages shall remain in place, the City will handle removal and installation of dugout pads prior to project commencement, and bidders must include yellow caps on all sideline fences, restoration of concrete/asphalt/warning track from removed posts and footings, 40 linear feet of 10-gauge height chain link fence between the northwest and southwest fields (to be added to infield cost breakdown), and 9-gauge fencing for all backstops. The original bid deadline has not been changed, and this addendum must be attached to the specifications with receipt acknowledged on page 16 of the bid submission.
The addendum clarifies that signs, shade cloth, padding, and electrical boxes will be removed and reinstalled by the City and should not be included in bidder costs. Contractors must use industry-standard 1-7/8-inch diameter line posts and 2-3/8-inch diameter terminal posts throughout the project. No pricing information, set-asides, funding sources, or award dates are specified in this addendum document, which serves solely to provide technical clarifications and scope modifications to the original project specifications.
