About this file
This is Addendum 2 for the KSU Campus ALTA Survey, SUE and GIS Project (No. 777-25-125) issued by Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia, dated January 6, 2025. The addendum clarifies key requirements including that the Party Chief does not need to be a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) but a licensed PLS must be on the team, GISP certification is required for the GIS Analyst role, and a Professional Engineer is mandatory for SUE oversight. The base scope covering 199± acres of the Marietta Campus ALTA is due June 1, 2025, while the alternate scope for the Kennesaw Campus will be considered in the new fiscal year (July 2025) based on funding availability.
The addendum provides significant technical clarifications, including that Quality Level-A (QL-A) is the expected quality level for utility mapping with depths required, no 3D mapping is needed, and data storage will be managed in KSU's Enterprise or ArcGIS Online Organizational Account. KSU does not currently have an ArcGIS Online Account, and licensing needs to be included in proposals with ownership transferring to KSU at project completion. The contractor is responsible for title research, and while position titles can be flexible, all key staff must meet specified certification requirements. No bonding is required per Addendum 1.
