About this file
This is an Addendum #2 to multiple Invitations to Bid issued by the City of Peachtree City, Georgia Police Department for vehicle accessories across four separate solicitations (23-107BPD, 23-110BPD, 23-111BPD, and 23-112BPS). The addendum addresses clarifications regarding specific component requirements for patrol vehicle outfitting. Key products specified include a 600-watt minimum power inverter with ignition sense capability and minimum two AC outputs, an in-car Brother PJ-722 printer with hard-wired power and USB-A cable, a manual adjustable driver's A-pillar mounted Whelen LED spot lamp, and six-lamp Tracer lighting units in red, blue, and white color patterns for running board mounted positions. The original bid due date for all four solicitations was extended to March 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
The addendum clarifies technical specifications and acceptable alternatives for components that were subject to vendor discontinuation or specification ambiguity. The City confirmed acceptance of any brand 600-watt inverter meeting stated requirements, specified the exact in-car printer model with required power and connectivity options, clarified that driver spot lamp installations should include the Whelen LED lens on a manual adjustable A-pillar mount rather than factory options, and provided updated part numbers for Tracer lighting units. Additionally, the City confirmed that blue/clear lighting specifications were required rather than the blue/red configuration initially listed. No pricing information, set-asides, incumbency status, or funding details are provided in this addendum document.

CITY’S RESPONSE: All in-car car printers utilize the Brother PJ-722 model. A power cord, hard wired or DC power, and a USB-A cable for computer input is needed.
3. QUESTION: Bid says “diver spot lamp – Whelen led”, “A-pillar mounted manual Whelen LED spot light.” Want to confirm you need the Unity spotlight, Unit bracket and Whelen P46SC LED bulb installed, not just the Whelen LED bulb as if vehicle was ordered with a spotlight from Ford.
