About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 2 issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for a Districtwide Strategic Communications Consultant Services contract covering Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is DOT-RFP-26-6197SD, with proposals due on August 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The addendum provides clarifications and responses to four specific questions from potential proposers regarding staffing requirements and qualifications for the strategic communications project.
Key clarifications include: the Emergency Communications Manager must be a staff member of the prime consultant, not a subconsultant; proposers can submit multiple qualified candidates for most roles (except the In-House Community Outreach Specialist); FDOT will accept a prime consultant with a satellite office in Miami-Dade, Monroe, or Broward; and proposers can submit a maximum of two Community Outreach Specialists and two Assistant Community Outreach Specialists on the Technical Proposal. The addendum emphasizes that key personnel such as the Strategic Communications Project Manager, Emergency Communications Manager, and Senior Community Outreach Specialist must be stationed locally to work directly with the department during the contract term.
